San Diego Zoo

This was Michael’s first trip to the San Diego Zoo!  I have only visit the sleepy lazy LA Zoo. ;)  Tita Carmel, Tita Jenny and Dennis have asked a few times before if they can take him to the zoo, and I’ve always said no because I wanted to be the first one to take him.  I guess they asked one too many times because this time, I said yes.

Are you having fun Michael?  Thumbs up? Oh wait, that’s not your thumb, but we’ll take that as a yes.

Michael loved feeding the giraffes

So much, that he fed them SIX times!

He’s not afraid of big polar bears

Or baby polar bears (don’t worry these are fake)

  This was the coolest place yet!  The weatherman said the high was supposed to be 75 degrees, but it felt more like 90.

**I asked Michael a few questions after his first big zoo trip**

Me: Did you have fun at the zoo?

Michael:  (Shakes head) No.

Me: What did you see at the zoo?

Michael: Giraffes, rhinos, hippos, elephants (but it sounded more like elfunts)

Me: What else?

Michael: Pandas, monkeys, zebras.

Me:  Did you feed the giraffes?

Michael: Yes.

Me: What did you feed them?  Teddy grahams?

Michael: No, biscuits!  (And he put his hands together showing the motion of how he fed them!)  Soo cute.

Me: Do you want to go to the zoo again?

Michael: No, too hot there. (LOL)
