My First Christmas

We woke up bright and early to open Christmas gifts! I got a ton of new toys and clothes! I'll try to list them all but excuse me if I forget some things. I got a big stuffed animal named "Dug" from the Disney movie UP, a firetruck walker/ride-on, a sassy roaring lion walker/ride-on, a learning interactive walker, "Chuck" the dump-truck, a helicopter, piggy bank, stackable blocks, Sesame Street pop-up friends toy, gears, swing 'N score baseball, and so much more! I also got some new chucks, a bunch of clothes and books. I can't quite read yet, but I like to pretend that I do or I'll put the books in my mouth. So yummy in my tummy!

After opening all the gifts, we celebrated Christmas Day with Daddy's Family at Auntie Karen & Uncle Niv's clubhouse. It was very very comfortable for me, almost like I've been there before...oh wait, my baby shower was there! =) We ate prime rib, creamed spinach, sweet potatoes, and had tons of dessert. I especially loved the sweet potatoes! Grandma played her Disney video of Ethan and me, and I noticed myself on the big screen! That was so cool!

I got to finally meet the rest of Daddy's cousins -- Jackie, Amanda, Kyle and Brian. I really dug Kyle!! Maybe it was all that hair on his head? haha.

Hope everyone had a safe and merry Christmas!

I think I got the hang of this pool thing..
(notice the stick pointing the wrong direction)

Cool! I got new chucks for Christmas! I think i'm gonna eat them.

A learning table! Yay! Thanks Grandma & Grandpa

Toys galore! Loud musical ones too... my daddy's gonna love these!

I LOVE riding in Ethan's cozy coupe!

Christmas Eve 2009

This year we celebrated Christmas Eve with mommy's family in Chino Hills. We had family fly in from Washington, Arizona, San Jose and Sacramento. It works out well because mommy's family parties on the eve whereas daddy's family parties on Christmas Day. The family has gotten so huge that we all pretty much stand the entire night or sit on the floor. I didn't mind it because everyone (maybe about 50 people) took turns holding me!!

We played L-C-R which lasted forever! 33 people were spread out on the floor from the living room to the dining room making a pot of $99! It was intense. It is also tradition to throw dollar bills from the second floor and have the kids catch what they can from the first floor. Daddy caught $17 (I guess white man can jump! haha) and mommy got $11...not bad for a little lady. Ninong Johnny also gave me what he caught making my piggy bank happy and full. =)

I look forward to next year where I can run around with the rest of the kids. Watch out kids!!

Ethan Push & I'll Ride 12/5/09

Today was such an eventful day! We finally got the keys to our first home! Daddy, Uncle Mike, Uncle Niv and Auntie Karen started the demo right away, and boy did they do a great job. We are going to make it look like its brand new...we can't wait!

Now, for the real post... Grandma decided to let Ethan and me play with an early Christmas gift -- Disney Cars Tow Mater. You can use it as a Walker as Ethan does really well, or you can ride in it as I mastered really well. Check out my balancing skills! For about an hour Ethan pushed as I rode. He's pretty strong for an 11 month old weighing 22 lbs. I think I could be just as heavy!

Thanks Grandma for this great toy! We love it!

Michael's Baptism 11/22/09

Michael, Violet, Cozmo & Ethan

Godparents Johnny & Carmel

Galzote Clan

Cornelius Clan

We had Michael baptized at St. Elizabeth where I (mommy) was baptized. We chose my cousin Jonathan and my sister Carmel to be his Godparents. During the entire ceremony, Michael was such a happy boy. He didn't cry at all, not even when the Deacon poured the holy water on his head! What a good boy. All he wanted to do was jump...go figure. The celebration continued at Buca di Beppo's where we had about 50 guests! The menu consisted of a caesar salad, garden salad, pepperoni pizza, margherita pizza, spaghetti & meatballs, and frutti di mare. There was so much food that almost everyone had leftovers for lunch the next day. Thanks everyone for all the gifts and making Michael's baptism so special.

Yoo Gabba Gabba! 11/21/09

We went to the Cook's house to celebrate Adelyn's 2nd birthday. My mommy made Yo Gabba Gabba shirts for Ethan and me to go with the birthday theme. Ethan was Plex and I was Brobee. We played in the bounce house the entire time even with bigger kids jumping inside. I got bitten by this baby named Luke and kissed by Kingston. What a weird day! We didn't get a chance to take a picture with the birthday girl because she was all over the place, but she sure was cute. Thanks Adelyn for a fun day!

I love the bounce-house! Can I have one for my bday?

Peekaboo!

Michael was all smiles in this thing

More Hallowwen Pics

We carved our first pumpkin together as a family. Michael's pumpkin had two teeth to match his two big top teeth...or bucky beavers! After carving our pumpkin, Ethan and Michael went Trick-or-Treating. We went to this neighborhood across the main street, and it was like a block party. Every house was decorated, and there were tons of people roaming the streets. Looks like we'll be coming back next year! Michael had so much fun that he passed out on our way home...

I love being Tigger!

Mommy doesn't know that I'm hiding a pumpkin seed in my mouth... Shhh...

Irvine Park 10/23/09

We checked out the Irvine Pumpkin Patch and took a few neat pictures! Michael had fun posing as Frankenstein, a baby corn, and next to a bunch of pumpkins. Next year, we hope to ride the train and go through the mazes when Michael is able to walk. No pumpkin hunting this time because we still have yet to carve the one that we got from the other pumpkin patch.

I'm Fwankentein

Oh look! I'm a baby corn!

Cal Poly Pumpkin Patch 10/17/09

Mommy, Tita Carmel, my gf Lynette (haha) and I went to the Cal Poly Pumpkin Patch in 100 degree weather! Boy was that a crazy idea. The hot hot sun turned my cheeks bright red! It was way too hot to be outdoors so we headed home after only an hour...but I was able to get my picture taken next to a few pumpkins! We took home one pumpkin so that we can carve it for Halloween.

Can you see my tiny mohawk?
