Knotts with Ethan and Emily

Since our passes are expiring at the end of the year, we decided to use our passes one more time and invite Ethan, Emily and Kathy to Knott's Berry Farm.  It was Ethan's first time trying out all the Camp Snoopy rides, and won't be his last since they got passes for 2012.  We're still not sure if we're going to renew ours for the new year.
They loved flying in the airplane, so much that when they got off the ride, they jumped back in line.
The boys were a tad too short to ride by themselves, so I had to accompany each boy and get whipped around two separate times. I barely made the height limit to ride alone! lol
Michael, the veteran, huff and puffed in the back to give Ethan a slight nudge, but Ethan picked up quickly and was chuggin away.
They had a blast in this gigantic Snoopy bounce house! Unlimited playtime when the park isn't busy.
Michael wasn't camera shy today, can you tell?
Ethan and Emily's First Knott's Visit (the place where their parents met). So cute!

It's a Small World Afterall

We decided to spend our last day of daddy's Thanksgiving break at Disneyland thinking that all the out-of-towners would be on their way home, leaving the park empty for us.  Well apparently all Disney passholders thought the same thing, and it was packed!  We took our time getting around because we really had no other choice.

Right as we entered the park, we stopped so that I could snap a few pictures of the holiday flowers, and that's when Jason spotted his cousins whom he hasn't seen in years.

Lines for all the rides were so long that we hung out and colored reindeer

And visited with Pluto for a bit

Pirates finally re-opened. Jason was thrilled and Michael...not so much!

Since Pirates was a little frightening and dark for the little guy, we headed to Winnie the Pooh for some bright, colorful fun.

Michael absolutely adores this huggable, lovable bear!

Happy Thanksgiving!

This was our best Thanksgiving yet!  We are very fortunate and thankful that we were able to spend it with both sides of the family this year.  It was an all day affair filled with lots of fun and laughter!
Ethan, Emily and Michael

Big brother Ethan was trying to cheer Emily up with his kisses...

But she was still sad, so Michael tried with his kisses. So loving these boys are!

Last year, they did this exact thing - they were bent down and giggling over what? Who knows, but they sure were having fun.

Best buddies

These pictures taken at the age of innocence are so precious.

We brought over Michael's power-wheelish race car that was donated to us by our friendly neighbor, Phil. The boys took it out for a spin...and ended up in the neighbors yard. Here's Grandpa directing them back to the street.

Whoooaaaah! They really enjoyed the ride.

I didn't get a chance to snap photos at the second party because I was busy shooting videos of people dancing their turkey dinner off! So hilarious...youtube time!

Happy Thanksgiving to you all! We are so thankful to live the life we have.

Golfland

On our way home from Legoland, Michael reminded us that we forgot to play golf and that we had to go back. It was the saddest but cutest sight! But since we "forgot" to do the 18 holes of miniature golf yesterday, we promised to take him out to play at Camelot.  We officially paid for 18 holes but I think he did more like 30 holes. He knew that when you play the last hole the ball doesn't come back, so he skipped it and continued to a second course.  His exact words were "We're not [sup]posed to play that one. It don't come back." He is too smart!
Ready Michael? I've been ready...since yesterday!

He shoots! Or he swings!

Oh no where did it go?

Did it come out of there?
There it is!

Some holes were quite difficult, like this one. He must've attempted to get the ball in the target at least a dozen times.

But it was nearly impossible for the little guy, so he opted to shoot it in, left-handed!
Hole in one!

Legoland

Jason took off the whole week of Thanksgiving so that we would have plenty of family time together. We went to Disneyland yesterday, but we have enough Disney pics so we skipped day 1 on our blog. But on day 2, we went to Legoland - many thanks to Auntie Kathy who gave us free tickets!

It was our very first trip to Legoland, and so we didn't know what to expect.  But to our surprise, the little park was quite entertaining, and most of all, Michael had such a blast that he asks if we're ever going to go back.  Perhaps we might entertain the thought of getting season passes...

Legoland is celebrating their Holiday Snow Days, and had a few Christmas Lego statues. Darn that shadow.

We visited a mini LasVegas at Miniland USA.

NYC

The Legowood Bowl!

Pier 39 at Fisherman's Wharf. We've had great memories in San Francisco.

Star Wars was represented very well

Had to blog about the food. These Granny Smith Apple Fries were so good! We had burgers for lunch that were the best theme park burgers we've ever had.

Jason and Michael spent a lot of time at the Hideaways - the ultimate playground

They ran, climbed, and slid down a 3-story tube slide.

It seemed like every ride for kids Michael's size was so chill.

Mommy was there too!

Michael's favorite activity was throwing snow balls. It was worth the long wait. Looks like we may have to take a trip to the mountains this winter season.
