Not too many pictures because he was determined to splash water at my camera.

Bathtime
Just a few bathtime photos of Michael... He loves to play basketball and form pretend words with his bath letters.
First Kite Flying Experience at Irvine Park
A few Christmases ago, Michael got an airplane kite but was too young to fly it. Now that he's a little bit older and knows what airplanes and kites are, we decided that it was a good time...not to mention we've been having incredible warm days this winter!
First we had to assemble the kite. It was easy as pie!
Well not that easy. Everytime we tried to launch it, the plane would flip upside down. It turns out the wing rods were flipped!
Michael wanted to wear his jet shirt to match his kite. He likes to pick out his outfits and makes sure his clothes match.
After a slight adjustment, the kite was up in the air.
Way to go Michael!
Afterwards we played in a nearby playground and went for a hike.
He's become quite the naughty kid...he thought it would be funny to throw rocks at the ducks. =(

A Perfect Thursday at Disneyland
We had a playdate with Nana, Auntie Kathy, Ethan and Emily at both Disney parks today. The day was just incredibly perfect - short wait times, nice weather, good kids (for the most part) - that we were able to visit both parks!
We got to the parking lot a little early so we snapped a few random photos.
Not sure if Michael was admiring oil or pee on the ground. Whatever it was, I made sure he didn't stomp in it.
10am and already having dessert! Michael picked a chocolate coated rice krispie treat.
And Ethan had his plain. Still so delish!
We couldn't resist a 10 minute Toy Story wait!
Ethan was my riding partner for the day!
I love their facial expressions!
You can tell when Michael is genuinely having a ball...his mouth is wide open!
Still open
Such a fun Disney day!
***Oh and Happy Anniversary to my One and Only. I love you, Jason!***

Karen and Niv Turn 30!
We continued the festivities at Karen and Niv's community clubhouse to help celebrate their 30th birthday. We played an exciting round of LCR where Jason was on a roll with rolling dots (that's when you don't pass the bill anywhere), but he didn't win the big pot. The birthday cakes and fruit tart were so yummy too! Happy Birthday Karen and Niv! I heard the 30s are the new 20s, or something like that. =)
These two sure had fun picking at the cakes before blowing out the candles.
Happy Birthday Auntie Karen!
Michael loves chocolate cake, chocolate frosting, basically anything chocolate!
Ethan is his total polar opposite in every way, and prefers white cake no chocolate.
I've been really bad about blogging ever since I switched to the iphone. I haven't had a chance to log onto the computer because the phone is so amazing! All my blogposts will be more than a month late; thus with it being so long ago I forget what to say about the event. Wondering what's been occupying my time? I spend my free time playing Words With Friends. Emily has been my toughest opponent so far.
Logan's First Birthday
Logan invited us to celebrate his first birthday with him at My Giggle Place in Fullerton. We've visited this place before on playdates, but my has this place expanded! Before we were restricted to only 2 rooms, and now they have 5 playrooms! There was something fun for everyone, and the place was big enough to accommodate all of Logan's party guests. He is sure loved.

Pizza Time!
|
Having fun! Look at Luke. haha
Happy Birthday Logan!

DCA or Disneyland, Michael?
"California Ventures!" says Michael.
This was Michael's reaction when he noticed that the Wilderness Area was closed.
He was all smiles as soon as we got on Triton's carousel
No hands!
A nice visit with Dale and Chip
It's been forever since we've visited A Bug's Land
Michael is now over the 36" height requirement! He was so thrilled to ride the bumper cars!
Michael's big chubby hands
We rode the Ladybug ride which is kind of like the teacups, only worse. It jerked really hard and fast in the beginning that Michael was thrown forward and bumped his lip.
He went home sad, and said that the Ladybug ride is a bad ride.
