My First Rice Cereal 8/09/09

Michael tried some rice cereal for the first time and did surprisingly well! We knew he was going to like it after having that first bite. No icky or sour faces made...just a wide-open mouth wanting more. After a while, he tried to grab the spoon and feed himself (or at least that's what we think, haha)! He's such a fast learner.. Shall we try some chicken and rice for his next feeding??

Hey Daddy, let me try. Give me that spoon!

::Wiping my chin:: Oh boy! That was a good meal.

4 Month Appointment 8/04/09

Michael had his 4 month Baby Well Appointment with his new Pediatrician in SoCal. He was so happy and full of energy at the beginning. He was busy jumping in front of the mirror, rolling on the table and giggling as the Dr. checked his breathing. He was so cute! But then his mood changed once he got his shots. He stopped crying as soon as we picked him up. Overall, I think he took the shots quite well.

Stats:
Weight - 16lbs 6oz
Height - 26 inches (that's 3 inches taller than his last appt 2 months ago!)

4 months old 8/02/09

At 4 months, Michael can hold his head up really well while having tummy time. He also practices sitting up, with the help of others of course. He loves jumping in his Rainforest Jumperoo or the Baby Einsten Jumper. He even jumps while being held underneath the armpits! Oh, did we forget to mention that his second tooth (bottom right) broke through his gums?

Let's go swimming!

My dad took Ethan and me swimming at Great Grandma Ann's pool. Ethan and I tried to work on our tan, but it looks like I was the only one who got darker...

OC Fair 2009

The OC fair was so much fun that we went three times this year! Mommy, Daddy, Tita Carmel and Tita Jenny were part of my fair crew. They ate cream cheese on a stick, chocolate covered bacon, a krispy kreme chicken sandwich, corn on the cob, gyros, chocolate covered bananas, australian battered potatoes, deep fried oreos & s'mores, a turkey leg, pulled pork and tri-tip sandwiches... Did we forget anything?

Holy cow! That's a big cow behind me.

The Australian battered potatoes were great!
