Day 6 – The vacation continues at Knotts & Disneyland
Who goes to Knotts and Disneyland on the same day?! We do! Jason had an extra day to spend with us before having to return to work, and instead of relaxing at home, he wanted to continue the fun and take us out. So after doing a few loads of vacation laundry, we went to Knotts for some famous Chicken Dinner (to go).
This was probably the happiest picture I snapped in 6 days. I didn’t have to ask him to look at the phone or smile. Oh yeah, of course I forgot the camera…
He’s quite a fast learner. He was the smallest and strongest huff and puff rider…and the anchor. He pushed all the other kids to the finish line!
We drove the trucks. This is what happens when daddy is the one behind the camera. LOL
After the Lucywood show, we visited Ghost Town and admired a blacksmith engrave a horseshoe. Our free 3-hour parking was almost up so we walked out just in time for naptime. Once he woke from his nap, we were off to Disneyland to watch fireworks and ride a few rides. We have a new spot to watch the show – we’re literally right underneath it – to the side of the castle. There were no crowds or people rushing to get around you. Disneyland was the perfect way to end a vacation.
And I forgot my camera again.
