Heritage Park

We joined our friends at Heritage Park in Irvine.  The mommies were looking for a nice new park to hang out at that included a splash zone, and this park had just what they were looking for.  It had two big shiplike playgrounds, a splash area, a huge lake with ducks and geese, and a few basketball courts.  Michael was a bit timid to run in the water, but enjoyed his time in the playground and sand areas.  He befriended an older boy who played hide and seek with him.  It wasn’t a great picture day because he was running back and forth so fast, as were the other kids.  I’m so glad the Viramontes girls were there because they helped out a lot with watching Michael.

Hi Mommy!

The Adventure Ship was one of two play structures at this park.  You could easily lose sight of your kid at this park because it was so huge.

There was a big beautiful lake nearby where Michael tried to chase geese.

Charlotte was there too!  As soon as she stopped for a snack, Michael followed her onto the bench and shared snacks with her.  These two cookie monsters are so sweet together.
