We Love L.A!

We scored free tickets to the Angels-Dodgers preseason game from Anyleis who donated money to the Japan Earthquake/Tsunami Relief Fund. Since it was at Dodger Stadium we decided to spend a few hours in LA to scope out some food places in Little Tokyo. We LOVE trying new things out! Our main objective was to try Spitz - Home of the Doner Kebab and get this red bean pancake dessert called Imagawayaki in Little Tokyo. Unfortunately, the store that sells the dessert was closed on Mondays. Aw shucks! Instead we got this "Mini Dog" fruit tart that Michael thought was delicious. See below.

Michael ate everything besides the fruit.

First bite

One bite and all gone

Of course we started off with dessert, and then we grabbed dinner at Spitz. I ordered the Chicken Doner in a lavash wrap with hummus, olives, feta cheese and sweet potato fries on the side. It was delightful! Michael thought so too!

Michael's version of two thumbs up

Now off to the stadium. We had VIP "Reserved Seating" making us think we had great seats, but when we got there, it seemed like we had to walk a mile to get to our seats. They were almost at the very top level! When they said reserved, they probably meant reserved for the rowdy, unruly fans. What a way to make everyone feel special...even if you're sitting in the nosebleed seats.

I want you!

We can't wait for the actual start of baseball season
