New Camera, Better Photos (I hope)

For a while now, we've been wanting to upgrade our point and shoot camera, but we didn't really have anything to justify the purchase. Well, the other day, our camera met it's goodbye as it fell to the ground and the lens refused to pop out. So we had no choice but to buy a new camera, and of course we had to go big with an SLR. Michael's birthday is just a few weeks away, we need to practice taking photos!
