Happy Birthday Lolo 1/4/10

We had dinner at this Japanese Restaurant called Akasaka to celebrate Lolo's 55th birthday. Michael challenged Lolo and Tita Carmel to a chopstick fight. He's so coordinated. He also kept waiving the chopsticks in the air and tapping them on the table. You can listen to his steady beat below. He was a hit with the young waitress. He kept trying to reach into her apron (to grab her pencil), and at one point, he touched her butt! Daddy needs to teach him to keep his hands to himself.

A Nice Day at the Park

It has been really really warm for the winter season so we decided to dress the boys in some shorts and take them to burn some calories at the park. Michael loves sitting in all kinds of different kinds of swings. =) We held his hand as he went down the slide. Once he reached the bottom, he would freeze and sit there to admire all the other kids running around. He's growing up so fast...where's my baby going?

I grew! My body shows in this swing
(not just legs)

Ready Nana? Here I go!

First Disney Trip..of the year 1/3/10

It was Daddy's last day of vacation, and we really didn't get the chance to spend much fun time together because of all the house renovations. So, we decided to spend his last vacation day at Disneyland. Tita Carmel, Anyleis and Ramon came along and joined in on the fun. We rode Casey Jr's Circus Train and the Storybook Land Canal Boats. Since Ramon was in a wheelchair, we thought we could get special treatment and hop on rides quicker. Haha! We were wrong. Every ride is wheelchair accessible, so for all you people who like to find short cuts, Disney is one step ahead of you! The handicap are treated equally to you and me.

Goodbye 2009. Hello 2010!

We rang in the new year at Tita Geraldine's first new house. It was a big year for our cousins this year because four of us bought our first homes. We're all growns up! Michael and I had a very bad cold but we managed to stay up for the countdown. Everyone had fun playing "Just Dance" on the Wii. You can really break a sweat and learn some cool dance moves while playing that game.

On New Years Day, we went to OPH, and Michael had pancakes for the first time. He almost ate a whole pancake! It was that good. I also gave him a little bit of scrambled eggs, but oops...i wasn't supposed to. Egg whites are a big no no for babies under 12 months. =X

Just about to have pancakes. Whats up?

Pardon my shirt. My drinking got a little out of hand.

My First Christmas

We woke up bright and early to open Christmas gifts! I got a ton of new toys and clothes! I'll try to list them all but excuse me if I forget some things. I got a big stuffed animal named "Dug" from the Disney movie UP, a firetruck walker/ride-on, a sassy roaring lion walker/ride-on, a learning interactive walker, "Chuck" the dump-truck, a helicopter, piggy bank, stackable blocks, Sesame Street pop-up friends toy, gears, swing 'N score baseball, and so much more! I also got some new chucks, a bunch of clothes and books. I can't quite read yet, but I like to pretend that I do or I'll put the books in my mouth. So yummy in my tummy!

After opening all the gifts, we celebrated Christmas Day with Daddy's Family at Auntie Karen & Uncle Niv's clubhouse. It was very very comfortable for me, almost like I've been there before...oh wait, my baby shower was there! =) We ate prime rib, creamed spinach, sweet potatoes, and had tons of dessert. I especially loved the sweet potatoes! Grandma played her Disney video of Ethan and me, and I noticed myself on the big screen! That was so cool!

I got to finally meet the rest of Daddy's cousins -- Jackie, Amanda, Kyle and Brian. I really dug Kyle!! Maybe it was all that hair on his head? haha.

Hope everyone had a safe and merry Christmas!

I think I got the hang of this pool thing..
(notice the stick pointing the wrong direction)

Cool! I got new chucks for Christmas! I think i'm gonna eat them.

A learning table! Yay! Thanks Grandma & Grandpa

Toys galore! Loud musical ones too... my daddy's gonna love these!

I LOVE riding in Ethan's cozy coupe!

Christmas Eve 2009

This year we celebrated Christmas Eve with mommy's family in Chino Hills. We had family fly in from Washington, Arizona, San Jose and Sacramento. It works out well because mommy's family parties on the eve whereas daddy's family parties on Christmas Day. The family has gotten so huge that we all pretty much stand the entire night or sit on the floor. I didn't mind it because everyone (maybe about 50 people) took turns holding me!!

We played L-C-R which lasted forever! 33 people were spread out on the floor from the living room to the dining room making a pot of $99! It was intense. It is also tradition to throw dollar bills from the second floor and have the kids catch what they can from the first floor. Daddy caught $17 (I guess white man can jump! haha) and mommy got $11...not bad for a little lady. Ninong Johnny also gave me what he caught making my piggy bank happy and full. =)

I look forward to next year where I can run around with the rest of the kids. Watch out kids!!

Ethan Push & I'll Ride 12/5/09

Today was such an eventful day! We finally got the keys to our first home! Daddy, Uncle Mike, Uncle Niv and Auntie Karen started the demo right away, and boy did they do a great job. We are going to make it look like its brand new...we can't wait!

Now, for the real post... Grandma decided to let Ethan and me play with an early Christmas gift -- Disney Cars Tow Mater. You can use it as a Walker as Ethan does really well, or you can ride in it as I mastered really well. Check out my balancing skills! For about an hour Ethan pushed as I rode. He's pretty strong for an 11 month old weighing 22 lbs. I think I could be just as heavy!

Thanks Grandma for this great toy! We love it!
