4 months old 8/02/09

At 4 months, Michael can hold his head up really well while having tummy time. He also practices sitting up, with the help of others of course. He loves jumping in his Rainforest Jumperoo or the Baby Einsten Jumper. He even jumps while being held underneath the armpits! Oh, did we forget to mention that his second tooth (bottom right) broke through his gums?

OC Fair 2009

The OC fair was so much fun that we went three times this year! Mommy, Daddy, Tita Carmel and Tita Jenny were part of my fair crew. They ate cream cheese on a stick, chocolate covered bacon, a krispy kreme chicken sandwich, corn on the cob, gyros, chocolate covered bananas, australian battered potatoes, deep fried oreos & s'mores, a turkey leg, pulled pork and tri-tip sandwiches... Did we forget anything?

My new toys - My Feet! 7/07/09

Michael has been trying to reach for his feet for quite some time, but now he's finally able to hold on to them really well. We also discovered that Michael is growing teeth!! The bottom left tooth is the first to break the surface of his gums. It won't be long before he can start eating solid foods... He's growing so fast.

Mom: How's your rainforest gym, Michael?
Michael: Oh, I dunno. I'm playing with my feet!

Fourth of July Fun

We celebrated the Fourth (and Mommy's Birthday) at Disneyland and at the Cook Family Residence. We went to Disneyland first thing in the morning and rode on Michael's favorite ride - 'It's a Small World' and not so favorite ride - 'Snow White'. I don't think we'll be going on Snow White ever again because it was pretty scary! During the day, we went to the Cook's annual BBQ. Adelyn was so nice to share her cool pool with the kids. At night, we went back to Disneyland to enjoy the spectacular fireworks show, but Michael slept through it all. We'll try again next year.

This Snow White ride is scary!

First Disneyland Visit 6/24/09

We went to Disneyland to celebrate Grandma Diane's Birthday. It was the perfect day to be there - it was partly cloudy but nice and warm. My first Disney ride was 'It's a Small World' and I loved the lights, sounds and little people from all around the world. There were so many things to keep me busy! It was so much fun!

Oops! I rolled over again! 6/16/09

Michael rolled over on to his tummy for the first time today! He rolled over three times in a row without hesitation. And out came a blob of spit up on his third try...ending all the fun.
