Malia turns 3!

We went to Founders Park in Brea to celebrate Malia’s 3rd birthday.  Malia is the daughter of my longtime friend Mary.  Mary and I reconnected many years after high school when we both lived up in the bay area.  The funny thing is that we bumped into each other while grocery shopping at Safeway, and the rest is history…

Michael picked a few flowers for the birthday girl.  She was super giddy!

Getting more brave.  He’s climbing and hanging on his own.  Makes me a little nervous though.

Malia had such fancy desserts: cake pops, delicious cupcakes, a cake from 85C, and Bottega Louie French macarons

Michael taste tested each dessert and thought they were all so incredibly good.

It’s a good thing we came to the party because he was the only kid there.  Malia and Michael had such a great time together.  They picked flowers and threw petals into the pool.  When the sun came out, they got down to their underwear/diapers and splashed around in the pool.  They’re giggles were so cute!  Thanks for inviting us to your party Malia!
