For several weeks, we've been asked if Michael has had a haircut yet. They either like how his hair looks or are hinting that it's about time he gets a cut. I suspected it was the latter, so I took the initiative to get him his first real haircut in a salon where they use scissors. Prior to today, Jason would occasionally clean up Michael's hair using clippers. Anyway, we visited Cool Cuts 4 Kids in Brea, and the first thing that caught his attention was the train table. He played for a good 10 minutes before it was his turn. He didn't want to sit in the little cute firetruck made especially for kids like him. Instead he wanted to sit in a big boy chair. So he sat still licking a lollipop and playing Mario Kart on Gamecube. He was really good for a few minutes, up until his stylist decided to help other customers, even before they were ready to make a purchase! By the way, there were other workers with older children. Umm hello! Michael is a toddler, and we all know toddlers have the shortest attention spans. When she returned, he was no longer in his seat, making it super difficult to finish the cut. Surprising? No. Anyway, after what seemed like hours, Michael finally got his hair trimmed, and is now the cutest kid on the block...in my opinion.
